From an early age, Valerie Foster showed her potential and passion in arts and fashion, winning various awards and having her art displayed in community markets. When it came time to choose college major, she was dissuaded by those around her and chose to focus on career options in healthcare.
Valerie’s passion for fashion was always alive, but it wasn’t until Fall 2018 that she began a blog covering the latest trends and what to wear guides for special occasions. In May 2019, she will be launching ZURRI Boutique, an online women’s shopping experience featuring designer collections for social events (including Ladies Night Out)!
In this episode, Val shares her early love of fashion design and art. We unpack a few ways we settle for plan B when plan A doesn’t seem to be a possibility. By opening her boutique, Zurri, Val’s story demonstrates how dreams circle back around to us in new ways!
