Gotta Go THROUGH It!

The best way OUT is always THROUGH.

I avoided it long enough! I dodged going to the doctor to discuss a health issue that got progressively worse in 2019. I’ve dealt with particular symptoms over the years, but always heard the same response from doctors, “you’re healthy. We’ll try birth control to remedy the symptoms.” [Check out the Family History episode at https://www.ladiesnightpodcast.com/episodes/s4e12/family-history-mo-fon]

After hearing this for most of my reproductive years, I reached a point where I gave up on traditional medicine. I avoided talking about what was bothering me during my annual exams. I pushed away people who were the closest to the issue. Once I relocated to SoCal, however, I had no choice but to see a doctor because the symptoms had gotten worse as the year progressed. Without going into too many details, I would learn that my symptoms were probably a result of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Wow! I finally got an answer and found relief in an instant. Now, I can make informed choices to improve my life! [Such as Eve FitChick’s CurvyFit Body Transformation Program at https://www.gtransformationacademy.com/]

As I shared my story, what came up for you? Is there something that you have tried to move around like the ball headed towards you in dodgeball? Why not reposition yourself to either catch what is headed towards you or be strategic with your moves so that you can be the last one standing! By the end of this episode, I hope that you have the courage to face your money, health, and relationships from a position of power knowing that you are more than equipped to do it.
